C.H.I.R.P.: Building Stronger BIPOC Communities Through Resource Sharing and Networking

Our Mission

The mission of Community Health Information Resource for the People (C.H.I.R.P) is to serve the BIPOC community by providing a comprehensive social media networking platform. We focus on disseminating free or low-cost resources for BIPOC community parents, youths, and service providers. Our goal is to connect community members with open access resources that specialize in mental health, self-care, and financial literacy.

How We Serve the Community

C.H.I.R.P. offers a variety of online and in-person forums where members can share resources, request BIPOC-specific services, and ask questions. Whether you’re seeking mental health support, looking to improve your financial literacy, or simply want to invest in your self-care, our platform provides a space for you to connect with others who have similar needs and interests. Through these interactions, members can offer assistance, share valuable tips, and contribute to a supportive community environment.

Our Vision

Our vision at C.H.I.R.P. is to build a connected and supportive community across Colorado. We aim to create a space where members can easily access resources, pose questions, and offer recommendations based on their personal experiences and local knowledge. By fostering interactions based on zip codes, we strive to create personal connections and empower individuals to contribute to the well-being of their local neighborhoods. With this approach, we hope to nurture a strong network of support and resource-sharing within the BIPOC community.

Get Involved

If you are a BIPOC community member, parent, youth, or service provider looking for resources, or if you are interested in contributing to our mission, we encourage you to join C.H.I.R.P. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected community where everyone has access to the resources they need for a better quality of life.
